PUBLIC SERVICE DAY 2023

Ministry of Internal Affairs together with The National Bureau for Non – Governmental Organisations (NGO Bureau) and other Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) on 23rd June 2023 participated in the celebrations to commemorate the Africa Public Service Day at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala.

This day aims to celebrate the value and virtue of service to the community. Some of the activities of the day included; holding various events to recognize the valuable role that public servants play in making improvements in society; other activities included; information sharing through featuring stalls and booths about the public service.

The Africa Public Service Day was created to: celebrate the value and virtue of public service to the community; highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognize the work of public servants; and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector.
